The form of Shiva ‘Ardhanarishwara’ in its depiction of Shiva’s female counterpart Parvati, highlights that every man has an incessant flowing, feminine side into him. Furthermore, absorbing this sentence, Wedifys’ Favorite – Magic Motion Media developed a new idea for this pre-wedding tour which was shot in Varanasi.
The video initiates with bride Aiswaria strolling around the city which is mysterious and exquisite. These pictures capture the soul of Benares city, a place with soothing sounds of the Ganges river, priests, cart vendors, narrow streets and dear people doing yoga and so on. It gradually controls the scene and the cameraman's attention shifts to the guy Balkrishnan who is as convincing as she in discovering new spaces.
At the beginning of the video, Balkrishnan and the girl avoid each other even though they don’t realize that. A dramatic footprint is produced, as the director intentionally uses unconventional soundtrack. At the end, the video finishes with a twist when Balkrishnan wakes up from a slumber while traveling in a train. And as soon as he alights from the train, the film shows Aiswaria travelling right behind him all along in the same train, giving us hints that all the previous images of them were a sort of a dream.
From the raw rustic costumes worn by the couple used to the enchanting elements of Benaras, the video is a subtle tribute to the divine concept of ‘Ardhanarishwara.’ From the spectacular view of the sun rising over the Ganges to the lit pyres on the river banks and the narrow streets, this compelling montage of action, mythology and authentic backdrops make Aiswaria and Balkrishnan’s pre-wedding film a truly unique one.
