The dream came true for Aashay when he decided to make it a big surprise and planned to ask her the question just before they had a hot-air balloon adventure. It happened at their workplace, where they started to admire each other and over time turned that feeling into something else. Lastly, when they enter the new phase of their relationship, Ashay traces back the chain of events towards his act of true love.
"Conveniently, Ashna has been loving balloons and on New Year's Eve she would usually let lanterns go as a wish, so I have decided to make her dreams come true," was Aashay's smile- evoking answers. "It struck me then that she was the girl I always wanted to spend my life with; hence I planned for an unexpected hot air balloon engagement."

Ashna recalls, "Aashay and our friends got this idea of trip near Bombay very early, and we were very happy to get a chance of early morning safari. However, I did not have a slight idea that Aashay had planned some even more beautiful things for me.
As the safari unfolded, there was a patch of wilderness where Ashna spotted a hot air baloon and Aashay bowing in front of her holding a banner bearing the words, "Will You Marry Me?"

"A perfect winter weather was playing with us. When we approached the peak, music was pervading the air," Aashay remembers. "Moreover, the wedding banner that went along with the inquiry he had admired for so long led me to kneel and propose before her. Thus, our life's new milestone was reached in euphoria after that 'Yes' we heard."
