Akansh Jain from Weddingz by Mindz shared, “The couple and their families desired a grand celebration. Although we had to change venues multiple times due to the pandemic, considering Rajasthan and Bangalore, we finally found our ideal location in Chennai! The wedding was planned with meticulous detail and security, creating a small bio-bubble. Everyone entering the resort was tested, and the event team and staff wore face shields and masks throughout to ensure safety.”

Sajan Goth, a Marwari tradition where families gather for a lavish meal, was infused with rich Rajasthani culture. Himanshu Kothari from Weddingz by Mindz noted, “We wanted to give the Sajan Goth a classic touch inspired by age-old traditions. The decor featured Rajasthani elements with live counters like block-printing of dupattas, a bangle stall, and pottery, with artisans flown in from Jaipur. Guests enjoyed these activities along with mouth-watering Rajasthani delicacies, while a live band played a mix of Bollywood and Rajasthani songs, and folk dancers welcomed the couple.”

The beachside Sangeet, hosted under the stars, was ultra-glamorous. Akansh described, “Held on the lush lawns by the beach, guests entered through a grand tunnel made of fairy lights. Sanitizers were placed at the entrance and throughout the venue for safety. Guests were greeted by paparazzi, beautifully decorated food counters, comfy lounge seating, and a colossal stage set the party mood. The couple’s entrance featured a pathway lit by nearly 100 cold pyros. An indoor after-party with a DJ kept everyone dancing late into the night.”

The wedding day was picture-perfect thanks to the meticulous planning and stunning decor. Akansh explained, “The wedding began with a grand Baraat featuring a live band, confetti, and cold pyros. The Varmala was a highlight, with the groom entering flanked by royal guards and the bride arriving like a queen on a beautifully decorated palki, accompanied by dancers with grand props. The varmala stage had four levels, culminating in a magical moment with a rose petal shower and confetti explosion as the couple exchanged garlands.

The surreal decor featured a mirror-studded elephant at the entrance and a Sheesh Mahal-inspired stage for post-Varmala photos. The Phere, following Jain traditions, took place at midnight on a Sheesh Mahal-themed floating mandap surrounded by petals and candles. Guests rang bells during the Phere, while a solo flautist performed during the rituals.”
