Mallika Singh, event designer and the brain behind the much-loved Fête Events, provides behind-the-curtain details of how she expertly managed this sharp trend that eventually became very popular at an event she conducted. The venue and the guests got the best start of taking a symbolical journey of a rainbow, which was manifested by a peculiar clock installation decorated with a multitude of different flowers. Velvety or dainty carpets matched the pre-function lounge area, with stylish cocktail tables, and ornate centerpieces comprised of floral arrangements in tall glass vases.

In more than +150 varieties of flowers, which were carefully laid out to align the gradient effect of the rainbow ombré, no flaws were visible. Mallika thus goes on to explain, "The fabrication of such a setting entails meticulous calculations for impeccable performance. Every type of flower was carefully chosen and measured up to achieve the desired color palette, whereas some were even painted to maintain the other one's color-consistency level."

Extending the color zone of Fête Event, the Bordeaux mode was added to the napkins, upholstery and some other accents, which evoked quite epic aesthetic perception. We had beautiful table setting; floral runners changed from one color to another smoothly ran through the table and candles imported especially to create visual enthrallment. Lightly-colored silver decorations, printed menu papers with specific calligraphy, and well-made napkin accessories, made the room more enchanting.

On the left-hand side, a video-lit LED stage demonstrated original content specific for the occasion, with a visuals variety, while a shining acrylic dance floor with silver geometric patterns was the “wow factor”. The fun was ceaseless with performances by Badshah and a Lebanese band. The night was filled up with a DJ playing fastly the beats that remained in your ears.
The best part of the night, for me, was when the cheese bar was made tailored by an expert. This not only gave the guest a unique culinary experience but also another different experience of that. She ponders and concludes "the rainbow ombre fashion style is now into the trend but Fete Event has another view on how to make these special days. People who attended it has proved that Fete event is committed to create events which are filled with songs, dance and happiness."
