In 2015, the very first Gionee Smartphones India Beach Fashion Week (IBFW) took centerstage in Goa from 5th to 7th February. This three-day event put over 30 designers in the spotlight, exhibiting resort, cruise, swim, and destination wedding dresses in three luxurious 5-star establishments. Wedifys loved each and everything from the event. Co founder Amyn manji imaged Goa to be Fashion Paradise where there were exuberant cat walks, thought provoking designs, celebrities and exciting after party. Plans to expand IBFW to other beach locations around the globe were mentioned as well.

Anjallee & Arjun Kapoor dropped "Persia Fantasy," which brought together Indo-Western couture with Mughal Ochres inspired by Persian Architecture. Elaborating on Rimple and Harpreet Narula's "Love in Catalonia" that is inspired by Barcelona's non-conformist soul and Sounia Gohil's "A Whimsical Tale", which is meant for the destination brides with fairy tale-like, minimalistic ensembles.

The showcase ended with the latest designs of Falguni & Shane Peacock's "Runaway Bride" collection that epitomizes modern-traditional bridal wear with clean lines, intricate embroidery, and soft pastel colours. One by one, the designers brought their own version of artistry, innovation and elegance to IBFW 2015 and thus, the upcoming shows are expected to continue to draw and fascinate fashion lovers from all around the globe.
