About Us and How We Met
We’re both 26, doctors currently living in Tampa, Florida, where we’re pursuing further education. I’m originally from Nairobi, Kenya, and moved to Ahmedabad to study for my M.B.B.S., while Smit is from Ahmedabad. Our story began in college-classic, yet special.
I’m the talkative, outgoing one who loves socializing and making friends, whereas Smit is more reserved and enjoys his personal space. Even though we were in the same class, we only got introduced in our second year. From that point, a great friendship began.

After a year of casual chats, Smit called me on my birthday and asked if I’d like to watch a movie with him. That was his sweet way of saying, “I like you, can we go out?” A few days later, he officially asked if we could ‘date.’ We were just 20 at the time, but for us, it was clear from day one that this was forever.
It wasn’t a grand “go down on one knee” proposal; instead, it was a mutual understanding. Six months into the relationship, we both told our families about each other. We went with the flow, and here we are! It’s been six and a half years, and he remains my best friend above all else.
About the Pre-Wedding Shoot
Smit and I share a love for traveling. Over the years, we’ve explored places like Australia, Hong Kong, Macau, Dubai, and Orlando. I’ve always wanted to see more of India, and Leh was a dream destination for me. So, when it came time to choose a location for our pre-wedding shoot, Leh was an easy choice.

We simply picked scenic locations and stopped at random beautiful spots to shoot. One of my favorite moments happened at a tea stall on the way to Pangong Lake at Changla Pass. We also shot at iconic landmarks like Leh Palace, Thiksey Monastery, Hemis Gompa, and, of course, Pangong Lake. Riding quad bikes during the shoot was another thrilling highlight!
