For most of the planning, we were given creative freedom, allowing us to innovate without restrictions. However, Anurag was very involved in planning the reception as he wanted it to be a surprise for Apeksha. He personally collaborated with us, and the results were spectacular. Before the wedding festivities began, a Mata Ki Chowki was held near the couple’s home, exuding luxury with a blend of traditional and modern elements. Damini explained, “The color red is often associated with the Goddess, so we ensured that the venue was filled with this hue. The Mata Ki Chowki was hosted on a plot next to the couple’s house, which was initially bare. We designed the stage to be the focal point, creatively covering the surrounding areas. To complement the red, we added touches of gold, which balanced the rich scarlet. Under a canopy of twinkling fairy lights, gold candle holders adorned with white tuberoses framed the Goddess’ idol on the stage, creating a warm and spiritual ambiance.”
