Prachi & Romil Agrawal’s Luxury Udaipur Wedding Redefined Destination Wedding Planning in India

Held across multiple luxurious venues in Udaipur during June, when the weather shifts quickly from intense heat to humidity, Prachi and Romil Agrawal's grand wedding was meticulously planned with comfort in mind. The three-day celebration was orchestrated by Perfexion Events, who tackled challenges with creativity, ensuring not only stunning events but also sustainability.

Ashish Bohra from Perfexion Events shares, “For a gathering of over 450 guests, we constructed an AC dome, as none of the venues had adequate indoor banquet space. The unpredictable weather and the couple's preference for an outdoor setting led us to build an 80 ft. x 170 ft. air-conditioned dome. It required thorough planning, multiple blueprints, and the expertise of numerous designers. We focused on proper ventilation to make sure the cooling was just as efficient as a traditional banquet hall. Also, to promote sustainability, we avoided cutting trees and incorporated the existing one into the decor, adding grandeur to the setup. The dome was made waterproof and had two sections – the main event space and a buffet area, ensuring guests felt comfortable throughout.”

The festivities began with an open-air welcome dinner, bathed in white hues, where guests enjoyed Rajasthani cuisine while mingling freely. After relaxing, they geared up for the Carnival Lunch the following day at a different venue. Ashish describes the event, “The Carnival Lunch had English vibes, with decor inspired by a popular Mumbai restaurant. It featured fun elements like a rotating ice sculpture of the couple, a wedding hashtag cake, an engagement ceremony, and a glass bell station.”

Our team was split into three groups to handle the dome transformation, shifting from modern to traditional decor.”

Prachi & Romil Agrawal’s Luxury Udaipur Wedding Redefined Destination Wedding Planning in India

When it comes to planning a luxury destination wedding in India, comfort, creativity, and flawless execution play an equally important role as décor and hospitality. Prachi and Romil Agrawal’s spectacular wedding celebrations in Udaipur showcased exactly how a professional wedding planner can transform challenges into unforgettable experiences.

Hosted across some of Udaipur’s most iconic luxury wedding venues, the three-day celebration was meticulously curated by Perfexion Events. With over 450 guests attending and unpredictable June weather conditions ranging from intense heat to humidity, the wedding planning team focused on ensuring maximum comfort without compromising aesthetics. The result was one of the most innovative destination wedding setups seen in recent years.

For couples searching for destination wedding inspiration, luxury wedding planner ideas, and creative wedding décor solutions, this Udaipur wedding offers endless inspiration.

How a Custom Air-Conditioned Wedding Dome Became the Highlight of This Udaipur Wedding

One of the biggest challenges facing the wedding planning team was the lack of adequate indoor banquet space across the chosen venues. The couple preferred an outdoor wedding experience, but the weather conditions demanded a practical solution.

To solve this challenge, Perfexion Events designed and constructed an enormous 80 ft. x 170 ft. air-conditioned wedding dome capable of comfortably hosting hundreds of guests. The structure was designed to provide the experience of a luxury banquet hall while preserving the open and grand atmosphere the couple envisioned.

The dome featured:

  • advanced cooling systems
  • proper ventilation planning
  • waterproof construction
  • dedicated buffet area
  • spacious guest seating
  • sustainable design elements

What made the structure even more remarkable was its eco-conscious execution. Instead of cutting down an existing tree, the wedding planner team incorporated it directly into the wedding décor design, allowing nature to become a central visual element of the celebration. This thoughtful approach showcased how luxury wedding planning and sustainability can work together beautifully.

Welcome Dinner Décor Ideas for Luxury Destination Weddings

The celebrations began with a sophisticated open-air welcome dinner at The Oberoi Udaivilas, one of the most luxurious wedding venues in Udaipur.

The welcome dinner embraced an elegant all-white theme that created a refreshing and luxurious atmosphere. Guests enjoyed traditional Rajasthani cuisine while mingling freely in beautifully styled spaces surrounded by the grandeur of Udaipur.

For couples planning a destination wedding, welcome dinners have become increasingly important because they allow guests to relax, connect, and immerse themselves in the wedding experience before the main events begin.

Popular elements featured at the welcome dinner included:

  • white floral styling
  • elegant table settings
  • ambient lighting
  • luxury hospitality experiences
  • destination wedding guest entertainment

This understated yet luxurious setup perfectly established the tone for the celebrations that followed.

Carnival Lunch Ideas for Destination Wedding Celebrations

The next day, guests were transported into a completely different atmosphere during the Carnival Lunch held at Trident Hotel Udaipur.

Inspired by a popular Mumbai restaurant, the event featured playful English-inspired décor and interactive experiences that encouraged guest participation. Unlike traditional wedding functions, the Carnival Lunch focused heavily on entertainment, personalization, and memorable experiences.

Highlights included:

  • a rotating ice sculpture of the couple
  • a wedding hashtag cake
  • engagement celebrations
  • interactive glass bell stations
  • themed décor installations

Modern luxury wedding planner teams increasingly focus on creating immersive guest experiences, and this Carnival Lunch perfectly demonstrated how creative event concepts can make destination weddings even more memorable.

Vibrant Mehndi Décor Ideas for Summer Weddings

One of the most visually striking events was the Mehndi and Mayra celebration.

Executing this function required extraordinary planning. Within just 18 hours, the wedding planner team completely transformed the venue décor from a modern carnival theme into a vibrant traditional celebration.

Over 1,500 laborers worked simultaneously across three venues to ensure flawless execution. The wedding planning team divided itself into multiple groups, allowing rapid transformation while maintaining the highest standards of quality and creativity.

The Mehndi décor featured:

  • pink and purple floral palettes
  • elegant decorative arches
  • minimalistic stage backdrops
  • handcrafted giveaway stations
  • customized guest experiences

Guests were treated to thoughtful gifts including:

  • block-printed dupattas
  • handcrafted soaps
  • artisanal perfumes
  • resin accessories

To help guests stay comfortable during the summer heat, an ice gola station offering more than 30 flavors became one of the most popular attractions of the event.

Glamorous Sangeet Décor Ideas Under the Stars

The Sangeet celebration brought glamour and energy to the wedding festivities.

Hosted beneath the Udaipur night sky, the event embraced a rich purple color palette that created a luxurious and dramatic atmosphere. Carefully curated lighting, performance spaces, and elegant seating arrangements transformed the venue into a vibrant celebration space.

Luxury wedding planner teams often recommend strong color themes for Sangeet functions because they help create visually impactful experiences and stunning wedding photography moments.

The Sangeet featured:

  • purple wedding décor
  • dramatic lighting installations
  • live performances
  • luxury entertainment experiences
  • elegant lounge areas

Guests celebrated late into the night before moving into the after-party celebrations.

Neon After Party Ideas for Modern Indian Weddings

Following the Sangeet, the celebrations continued with a high-energy neon-themed after-party.

Neon wedding after-parties have become increasingly popular among modern couples because they allow guests to relax, dance, and enjoy a completely different atmosphere after formal wedding functions.

The event incorporated:

  • neon lighting installations
  • contemporary lounge styling
  • vibrant color palettes
  • dance-focused entertainment
  • immersive nightlife aesthetics

For couples planning luxury destination weddings, after-parties are now considered one of the most memorable guest experience elements.

Traditional Haldi Décor Ideas for Elegant Wedding Celebrations

Before the wedding ceremony, the couple hosted a beautiful Haldi celebration featuring traditional Indian wedding aesthetics.

The décor embraced warm yellow tones with marigold flowers serving as the primary decorative element. Floral installations, fresh blooms, and intimate styling created a cheerful and culturally rich atmosphere.

Marigold-themed Haldi décor remains one of the most searched wedding décor ideas because of its timeless beauty and traditional significance.

Elegant White Wedding Décor Ideas for Luxury Indian Weddings

For the wedding ceremony itself, the décor shifted towards understated luxury.

The wedding planner team chose elegant off-white décor combined with crystal chandeliers and warm lighting to create a sophisticated and timeless atmosphere. Instead of relying on excessive ornamentation, the focus remained on elegance, refinement, and visual balance.

The wedding décor featured:

  • crystal chandeliers
  • ivory floral arrangements
  • soft lighting concepts
  • luxurious seating
  • elegant aisle styling

This approach perfectly demonstrated how luxury wedding décor does not always require bold colors. Sometimes simplicity and elegance create the most memorable wedding experiences.
