Frequently Asked Questions
1. What is a pre-wedding photoshoot, and why should we consider having one?

A pre-wedding photoshoot is a photo session conducted before the wedding day, capturing moments of the couple’s love story and their personalities. It allows couples to create beautiful, candid, and personalized memories that can be used for wedding invitations, Save the Date cards, or simply as keepsakes. It’s also a great opportunity for the couple to get comfortable in front of the camera, which can help make the wedding day photography smoother and more relaxed.

2. How far in advance should we book a Save the Date photoshoot and what should we expect during the session?

It’s best to book a Save the Date photoshoot at least 6-8 months before your wedding date. During the session, you can expect a fun and creative experience where the photographer will work with you to capture your personalities and relationship in unique ways. The session may involve various locations and outfits, depending on the concept and theme you choose. The final photos are then used to create your Save the Date cards, which should be sent out to your guests to inform them of your wedding date well in advance.

3. What information should be included on a Save the Date card?A Save the Date card should include the following information:

- The names of the couple
- The wedding date
- The location or city where the wedding will take place (specific venue details can be provided later)
- A brief note indicating that a formal invitation will follow
- Optional: A photo of the couple or a creative design element that reflects the wedding theme

4. When is the best time to send out wedding invitation cards?

Wedding invitation cards should be sent out 8-12 weeks before the wedding date. This timing gives your guests ample notice to make travel arrangements and RSVP. For destination weddings or if you have many out-of-town guests, it’s a good idea to send them out even earlier, around 6-9 months in advance. Make sure your Save the Date cards are sent 6-8 months before the wedding to give guests a heads-up before the formal invitation arrives.
