But I didn’t want to regret not having a traditional wedding with all the rituals. I told Rikin we should have a small temple ceremony followed by a cocktail party,” says Jiya.

Finding the right venue was challenging. After many searches, they stumbled upon The Club in Juhu. By chance, February 5 was available, and Rikin promptly paid the deposit to secure the date.

With just January left, they had to handle invitations, food tastings, photography, DJ, bar setup, decor, hair and makeup, and outfits.
