Despite the tight timeline, the team successfully organized two functions with distinct personalities. The festivities began with a cocktail party that radiated a classic old-school vibe, featuring warm colors, abundant wooden elements, and tufted sofas. This event took place at Amaara Farms, where the expansive lawns and lush surroundings provided the perfect backdrop for the theme. Devika recalled, “Sanjana’s preference for a vintage ambiance became evident during our conversations. To add a unique twist, we envisioned an English cigar lounge vibe for the cocktail party. We created a wooden deck with leather quilted furniture, incorporated a screen projecting a black-and-white film, and added elements like bookshelves, walls adorned with lithographs, trunks, and Edison bulbs to enhance the atmosphere. The highlight of the evening was the ‘candle bed,’ where we arranged thousands of candles in one section of the lawn, further amplified by the serene venue.”

Devika elaborated on the house's design and how it influenced the decor: “Sanjana was determined to have her wedding in the lawn of her home, inspired by Scottish and English courtyard architecture. We aimed to create decor that complemented the beauty of their abode, conceptualizing a cozy, intimate floral wedding with shades of pink and lavender.” The ceremony was adorned with an abundance of delicate flowers in soft colors, bringing a touch of magic to every detail.
